SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Davenport, Kissimmee and the greater Orlando area offer a culinary journey around the world! From Mexican and Italian favorites to Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Thai and Greek, you’ll find it all deliciously prepared for you here. If you’re in the mood for a colossal T-bone steak or a flavorful filet, you’ll find it. Pizza, barbecue, seafood? Right this way. Even quaint little bistros. A fusion of Asian flavors is abundant, from sushi to dim sum to teppanyaki. And if you love dining with a Latin flair, Kissimmee’s Latin Trail offers a tantalizing selection of authentic dishes from Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Spain. Here are a few of our personal recommendations.

THIS IS OUR FAV!

THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY

Situated at the Mall of Millennia, the Cheesecake factory is a very popular restaurant. It is obviously famous for its range of over 30 different cheesecakes but don’t think that it is all about desserts as the rest of the food is fantastic too. One word of warning, as always the portions are huge so make sure you leave enough room for the cheesecake.

A CARIBBEAN TWIST

BAHAMA BREEZE

There are a number of Bahama Breeze restaurants in the Disney/Orlando area but the general consensus is that the best one is on International Drive. Close by is the  Orlando Eye with spectacular views (maybe advisable to go on first before you eat.)

Bahama Breeze has a Caribbean twist to the menus with a good choice of fresh fish as well as steaks, awesome ribs, and Jamaican jerk dishes. There is a great range of cocktails and if you sit outside under the canopy there is nothing better on a warm and balmy evening than great food, super cocktails and the sound of a Caribbean steel band to entertain.

TUSCAN GRILLE

BRIO

Situated on the opposite side of the Cheesecake factory at the Mall of Millennia entrance is a Tuscan grille called Brio. It is a little bit more upmarket than your usual Florida diner, perhaps ideal for a special occasion. Inside is very opulent and there is also an outside terrace and a terrace in the lobby of the Mall of millennia entrance.

THE ULTIMATE STEAKHOUSE

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE

G’day cobber! The Outback is situated near Formosa Gardens and is famous for their Bloomin Onion appetizer and Coconut Shrimp appetizer. Make sure you share the Bloomin Onion, definitely not a starter for one. If you want to eat in your villa then The Outback offer a takeaway service that can be ordered online. Then just pull up in the take away bay and collect.

Ponderosa.jpg

BUFFET HEAVEN!

PONDEROSA

Ponderosa are famous for their extensive buffets. There is plenty of variety for the whole family including steaks, fish, pasta and salads.

TYPICAL AMERICAN BAR STYLE!

APPLEBEES

Part of a chain, there are a number of Applebee’s restaurants in the Disney/Orlando area but one of the best ones is conveniently located on the US 27 at Berry Town Centre.

The restaurant is decked out in a typical American bar style with lots of memorabilia, TV screens on the walls, a central bar with bar stools and plenty of booths. If you don’t want to eat out, maybe you have very young kids that will be in bed then Applebee’s has a “Carside To Go” service. This service lets you call in an order and have it delivered right to your car door. Just call ahead and they will have it ready and waiting for you when you arrive to pick it up.
